Safer Cell Service utilizes the Samsung Knox hardware to guarantee you that this restriction platform cannot be bypassed. Software-based restriction platforms simply do not have the ability to keep this technically-inclined generations from bypassing software-based restrictions.

Free Trial:

All users are allowed a 30-day free trial. A valid credit card is required to activate the service. If users cancels within 30-days, the user will not be charged for the service.

Online Cancellation:

All cancellations will occur online, without calling or emailing Safer Cell Service.

Block Dark Web:

Access to the dark web is blocked. Users will not be able to install browser apps that access the dark web. Further, users will not be allowed to install VPN clients or utilize proxy services. Allowing these services would give users the ability to access forbidden sections of the Internet.

Pornography Filter:

Safer Cell Service utilizes advanced filtering technology to block access to pornographic content and sites that are known to be malicious. Further, all browsers are automatically forced to utilize “safe browsing” mode.

Block Website:

Users have the option to block specific websites that they do not want the device to have access to.

Allow Website:

While users will have the ability to “Allow” websites, pornographic and dark web access will remain in effect.

Locate Device:

Users will have access to the location of the device, through a visual map that can be accessed via the management site of the platform.

Lock/Unlock Device:

Users will have the ability to lock, or unlock, the device. This will over-ride the device password.

Wipe Device:

Users will have the ability to remotely erase, or “wipe”, the device.

Review Web History:

When logging into the platform, users will have the ability to view previously-viewed web traffic.

Lost Mode:

When the user enables “Lost Mode”, the device will be locked and provide the option to enter a custom message on the device.

Bedtime:

The user will have the ability to set hours that the device may be used. When a cell phone enters “Bedtime” mode, the device will only have three features: location services enabled, cell phone calls will be allowed, and text messaging will be allowed. All other services will be disabled, including application access and Internet services.

Review Text Messages:

Users will have the ability to review text messages that have been sent, or received, from the device. Further, the user will have the option to prevent the device messages from being deleted.

Age Banded Restrictions:

Age-banded restrictions are a set of rules based on the device user’s age. The current age-based restrictions are U10, U14, and U17.

Block Apps:

Users will have access to block apps that the device should not have installed. Setting the age-banded restrictions will automatically lock the device to age-appropriate content, but this option will allow users to block apps that have been deemed age-appropriate.

Allow Apps:

Users will have access to allow apps that the device should be allowed to install. Setting the age-banded restrictions will automatically allow the device to age-appropriate content, but this option will allow users to allow certain taps that have not been deemed age-appropriate.

Location Notification:

Users will have the ability to create an area that the device is allowed to travel inside of. Should that device travel outside that area, the user can setup notifications notify them of the breach.

Device Controls Restrictions:

Users will have the ability decide if device restrictions are allowed to be edited from the mobile device itself.

Sim Eject Notification:

Users will have the ability to be notified, if the SIM card is ejected from the device.

Add Additional Devices:

Other than the “Basic Plan”, all packages allow users to add multiple devices to their account.

Contract Required:

No services require any contracts. However, no pro-rated refunds are given for mid-month cancellations. If user subscribes for the annual service, and cancels before the end of the year, no refunds will be issued.
