How hard is it to install your service?
Once you sign up for our 30-day free trial, you will be directed on how to download our app from the Google Play Store. Installing the software is as simple as installing the app, and accepting all permissions requests that are presented during installation. Once you have finished the install, the device will be accessible online, via your management page.
Does your service require a contract?
While we do not require any contract length subscriptions, we do not offer partial-month credits for services unused/cancelled. Your account will be invoiced on the first day of the month, for the entire month. All activations and cancellations will be done online, via our website.
Why do you only support Samsung devices?
Early in the mobile device boom, Samsung recognized that mobile devices would become increasingly important to commercial, government, and military agencies. To provide the highest level of security, Samsung Knox physically installs a microchip in each device. This security chipset allows programmers to secure, restrict, and manage mobile devices. Since the launch of Knox in 2013, Samsung has received numerous certifications, including a certification from the Department of Defense.
Samsung Knox is consistently used in government, military, healthcare, and sectors that require mobile device data to remain secure and safe. Safer Cell Service is working with programmers to leverage Samsung Knox and create a new platform for users to protect, track, and monitor their organization’s and family’s data.
What Samsung devices do you support?
We can only provide this solution on Samsung devices that have Knox 3.0 or higher. To see a complete list of devices, please visit our device page.
What if I have an older Samsung device?
Samsung equipment with older versions of Knox security, while not supported, may function. All accounts come with a 30-day free trial. If you find that your device works properly, please email us and let us know. You can submit that information online, under your Help section of the website.
Will you ever support Apple devices?
For the time being, Samsung is the only company who provides the layer of security required to ensure that the restrictions cannot be circumvented. We would love to offer this service for all devices, but at this time our guarantee requires us to only provide this service to Samsung mobile devices.
